Thirsty Whale Napier City Rovers has signed goalkeeper William Tønning for the 2024 Central League Season. 

Tønning (24) who stands at 188cm arrives from Hobro IK who play in the second Tier of the Danish football league system and has also played along side another City Rovers new signing Oscar Faulds at IFK Lulea.

Thirsty Whale Napier City Rovers head coach, Bill Robertson says; 

“William is an exciting addition to the club in such a key role for us this season”

“He is an experienced goalkeeper with a big presence and strong communication that will help towards creating a strong defensive unit with the players in front of him”.
