Thank you to all that braved the wet at our first National League game of the season. A great result from our boys in blue saw us win 3-0. Solid at the back, big effort in midfield and great finishing from the strikers. A complete team performance.

Our next home game is against the big boys from Auckland City on the 8th of October at 2pm, I hope to see another great turn out from our supports and fingers crossed some sunshine.

Blue seat tickets are still available for purchase, apologies for the congestion upstairs yesterday. With sponsors, members and Radio Ticket winners it all got a little cramped. I have a plan in place to fix this for this next game.

Once again thank you to all that volunteer on game day, from setting up the grounds, to the kitchen and bar staff. It was great to be a part of it and showcases how special it is for travelling teams and supporters how great it is here at Bluewater Stadium.

As Russell mentioned in the after match speeches, the under 19’s tournament is fast approaching and we are always looking for help over that weekend. Paula has requested that if you are wanting to help in the kitchen/food tent that you get in contact with her so that a roster can be created, that we have the correct amount of people in there for the whole tournament. If you are wanting to help see Paula or you can contact me via email on admin@cityrovers.co.nz and I will pass on your details to Paula.
